Supporting Local: Rooster Partners with Crafted Earth Studios

Whether that’s supporting local charities, championing brilliant businesses, sharing our expertise or simply helping shine a light on the organisations doing great things close to home, giving back is something we’re proud to be part of.

That’s why we’re particularly excited to announce that Rooster Marketing will be supporting and sponsoring Crafted Earth Studios, part of the Minstead Trust, for the next two years.

And, as partnerships go, this is one we’re really looking forward to.

Creativity with a Purpose

Crafted Earth Studios is a professional craft workshop and shared studio space where people with learning disabilities can develop their skills, explore their creativity and be recognised as makers in their own right.

Based within Minstead Trust, Crafted Earth brings together talented makers across a number of different disciplines, including fibrecraft, woodcraft, ceramics and weaving. The studios use traditional techniques, natural and recycled materials, responsibly sourced timber and plenty of imagination to create genuinely beautiful, high-quality products.

But Crafted Earth is about much more than the things being made.

It’s about creating opportunities.

It’s about giving people the chance to learn new skills, build confidence, work collaboratively and see the value in what they can create. It’s about celebrating individual strengths and creating an environment where people can take pride in being makers.

And that’s something we’re very happy to get behind.

Backing the Brilliant Things Happening Locally

We’re lucky to work with some brilliant organisations and people across the UK, but there’s something particularly special about supporting initiatives happening right on our doorstep.

Local organisations understand their communities because they’re part of them. They see the challenges, understand the opportunities and, often, make a huge difference without always receiving the recognition they deserve.

For us, supporting local is about helping those organisations continue doing what they do best.

Sometimes that means putting our marketing expertise to work. Sometimes it means helping to tell a story or amplify a message. Sometimes it means getting involved directly. And sometimes, quite simply, it means saying: we believe in what you’re doing, and we want to support it.

Our partnership with Crafted Earth is a little bit of all of those things.

Making a Difference Through Making

There’s something wonderfully tangible about the work happening at Crafted Earth.

You can see the creativity in every piece. From hand-crafted ceramics and woven textiles to beautifully made wooden products, the studios give makers the opportunity to turn ideas and skills into something real.

And because the work is collaborative, every finished piece has its own story.

The ceramics studio, for example, sees different makers involved at different stages of the process, from working with the clay through to crafting and glazing. In the weaving workshop, collaboration and individual strengths come together to create high-quality textiles.

It’s a great reminder that creativity isn’t just about the finished product. It’s about the process, the people and the opportunities that come along the way.

Why Community Matters to Us

Giving back has long been part of the Rooster way of doing things.

We believe businesses have a role to play beyond simply delivering great work for their customers. We’re part of wider communities, and with that comes an opportunity – and, we think, a responsibility – to contribute positively to them.

That thinking runs through the partnerships we’re proud to support.

From our work with community-focused organisations to supporting charities that create opportunities for people and families, we want our business to have a positive impact beyond the campaigns, websites and strategies we create.

It’s something we’ve spoken about before: marketing can do more. When it’s done well, it can be a positive force – helping organisations tell their stories, connect with people and create meaningful change.

Our partnership with Crafted Earth is another small part of that bigger picture.

Over the next two years, we’re looking forward to supporting Crafted Earth Studios and the wider Minstead Trust community.

We’re looking forward to seeing the creativity coming out of the studios, learning more about the people behind the work and finding opportunities for Rooster to contribute along the way.
