Drivetech provides risk management solutions for fleet and transport managers and delivers driver awareness courses for UK police. Rooster was commissioned to review Drivetech’s current brand within the market and within the AA group’s structure.

Our work with Drivetech began when they came to us to review their brand perception and application. We carried out a full brand identity review which led us to create a range of new brand identities that differentiate Droivetech from the AA parent brand.

Drivetech were so happy with the brand development they asked us to redesign the Drivetech website to roll the new brand out and improve the UX and UI. The new website combines a clean, simple design with a clear structure for its many audiences, languages and microsites. Ensuring users receive the correct tone of voice and content based on what services they’re looking for.

Alongside the new website rollout, we strategically planned SEO & PPC campaigns to support the Driver Training side of the business. This has been a huge success, ensuring a strong brand presence in the search along with generating a large number of new business leads for Drivetech.

Searchlight Cyber is a cyber security company that provides organizations with dark web threat intelligence. They have the most comprehensive dataset based on proprietary techniques and ground-breaking academic research.

Today they help government and law enforcement, enterprises, and managed security services providers around the world to illuminate and prevent dark web threats.

Our work with Searchlight Cyber started with a project to review its brand and website with fresh eyes to give it a modern and updated feel. We conducted a brand audience and outcomes workshop. This gave us deeper insight into the business, service and future direction of the brand.

The workshop gave us actionable insights that we used to benchmark the development of the new brand’s look and feel and heavily influenced our work on the new website.

We commenced a rebranding exercise to help position Searchlight Cyber as the credible B2B company they are. Elevating the brand so it resonated with the corporate decision-makers, whilst keeping it simple. Choosing bold orange colours that help cut through the dark mode styling within the website.

Our next project was to update their website to improve UX & UI. The website design focused on pushing users to their case studies, creating a streamlined user journey where they can easily find relevant data through the menu structure and on-page elements.

We focused heavily on current trends around using dark mode on devices for the website design, which ties in with the theme around the dark web. It also mimics a more app-style design as the majority of their visitors were mobile users, which helps future-proof their site and brand.

A unique brand experience

Sodexo is a world-leading catering, facilities management, employee benefits & home services company. They believe in the difference a day makes, which shows in their focus on providing solutions for people’s essential needs.

Rooster worked with the benefits and rewards arm of the business. Sodexo implements successful benefits and rewards programmes globally for its staff. Helping improve employee well-being and retention.

Sodexo came to Rooster with an idea: to revolutionise employee benefits with a new way to put money aside and get an amazing 5% extra when they spend. To achieve this, they needed a bespoke web portal where employees could set up goals and attach their prepaid cards. They also needed a brand identity to fit their new scheme.

We worked to create a visual identity for this benefit – Money Boost. We used a mix of photography and illustration to show employees saving aspirations, such as events, holidays, purchases etc. Pushing employees emotionally to save for a specific goal, which they could easily add to the microsite.

A custom range of print brochures was designed with specific messaging and imagery for each audience type. We created a range of bespoke hand-drawn illustrations ranging from the Empire State Building to a washing machine.

To complement the campaign our in-house animators and video production team planned, shot and edited a promotional video. Forging our hand-drawn illustrations with live video to create a unique video experience showcasing this benefit.

To strengthen the campaign further we designed and developed a bespoke web portal. This portal made it simple & easy for employees to interact with the Money Boost benefit. We tied in our creative campaign theme into this page to ensure a synergy between the marketing communications and the tool itself whilst remaining a seamless section on the Sodexo website.
