You must be an excellent communicator with previous telesales experience, have a friendly manner and a good general knowledge of the marketing industry and services. The successful candidate will be supplied with a good database of contacts for specific sectors and business types to be contacted by phone and will also be expected to make suggestions on other, suitable target audiences and how to target them.
The successful candidate will not be expected to answer technical questions and this will be done and supported by the Rooster Directors if requested. The ultimate goal will be to generate more specific conversations with target businesses via telephone or a face to face meeting.
Of course, the position requires you to be able to handle rejection, keep a friendly tone and mirror the Rooster personality that we have as a business throughout.
The success of the position will be judged on the number of quality leads generated that can be agreed dependent on hours and pay for the role.
You will be based and work from the Rooster offices in Shawford, Winchester and we can be flexible as to the days and hours worked. We are ideally looking for someone to work 3 days a week.
