Rooster Marketing’s journey with Plane Finder, an international leading flight tracking platform, began with looking to increase the amount of people who downloaded their iOS and Android app. Plane Finder wanted to offer a global network of data feeds and antennas radars that receive data broadcasted directly from aircraft for new and current audiences looking for quality real-time flight tracking. The primary technologies that were being pushed were ADS-B and MLAT. Rooster decided that the best way to achieve Plane Finder’s goals would be via an app redesign and on-going SEO and PPC services for their desktop version.

Plane Finder wanted to be consistent in their look and different from their competitors without moving away from their current audience, ultimately to gain more users of the app. With this in mind, Rooster designed the new look and feel for the app. With UX strongly in mind, we kept our designs as simple and visually appealing as we could whilst celebrating the Plane Finder brand. This would ensure the app would be both attractive to users and simple to use at the same time.
